A HTC Superfloor™ is so much more than just a natural and living surface. Look a little closer and you’ll discover the super powers that make your floor unique. When a concrete floor is cast the strongest material, the stone aggregate, settles below the surface leaving mainly cement at the upper surface. The HTC Superfloor process entails mechanically enhancing a newly cast or existing concrete floor. The concrete is ground step-by-step according to a well-defined process for achieving the desired characteristics.
Super Strong
A HTC SUPERFLOOR™ has a nearly unlimited service life and it can handle the toughest treatment imaginable. Concrete is 80–85% stone and sand, which means your HTC Superfloor™ is comparable to rock. Clean it in accordance with HTC’s recommendations, and little more will be needed in the way of maintenance.
HTC Superfloor™ can be used almost anywhere. The naturally beautiful surface helps in creating a positive impression in shop environments, for example. Its durability and evenness are especially appreciated in factories and warehouses. The easily cleaned surface makes the floor a popular choice for schools, museums, shopping centers, airport terminals, gyms and other highly trafficked areas.
Super Economic
A HTC SUPERFLOOR™ is a very cost-effective solution – for the short term, long term and everything in between. The cost per square meter is surprisingly low, since the concrete is usually already in place. But HTC Superfloor™ is also a smart alternative for new construction since grinding can begin just 5–7 days after casting.
Your HTC Superfloor™ will always be super-easy to keep in like-new condition. The smartest way to keep your floor clean is to use a floor-cleaning machine with diamond pads. This not only cleans the floor, it micro-polishes it too using only water. Manual cleaning, such as with a vacuum cleaner or wet mop, also works well.
After several years, the floor gains a natural patina. If preferred, it can be polished to easily restore its original gloss. There is no practical limit as to how many times the process can be repeated.

HTC SUPERFLOOR™ is a natural floor that creates a safe and secure working environment for many different activities. It produces no dust. It’s an extremely smooth and even surface to drive on. At the same time as it is slip-resistant, it complies with the highest standards for handling electrical equipment. When it comes to fire safety, it’s rated highest of all.
Resistant to slipping
Despite what many might believe, a highly polished HTC Superfloor™ is safer when it comes to avoiding slipping accidents than many other floors, even when wet. This means a safer and more comfortable working environment.
Vibration-free
The extremely smooth surface entails minimal vibrations when moving goods with forklifts, for example. This means a better working environment, with forklift operators, for example, being less exposed to vibrations. At the same time, it also reduces forklift wear and maintenance costs. A smooth concrete floor is a prerequisite for installation of high-bay storage systems, with their especially stringent demands on tolerances.
Sparkproof and fireproof
There are stringent demands in many operations for resistance to electrostatic discharge, ESD. HTC Superfloor™ has been tested in accordance with EN 1815:1997, SS-EN 61340-5-1, IEC 61340-4-1 and complies with the American ANSI/ESD standard, which makes it an excellent floor even in sensitive environments. HTC Superfloor™ also meets the requirements of the highest EU fire safety classification per A1FL (96/603/EC), and is thus considered as fully fireproof.
Which HTC Superfloor™ is right for you?
HTC SUPERFLOOR™ is available in four different surface finishes and degrees of aggregate exposure: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. It’s the grinding depth and number of polishing steps that differentiate the finishes.
Besides the four concepts Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, you can also have a custom finish that matches your specific preferences for aggregate and gloss.
HTC Superfloor™ Bronze
With its finely honed upper layer, Bronze is the simplest HTC Superfloor™. The aggregate will not be visible. This produces a smooth and matte surface with somewhat lower resistance to wear. Best in applications with limited wear.
HTC Superfloor™ Gold
Gold entails that the floor is not ground as deep as with Platinum. However, the floor is polished to the same gloss. Gold can therefore be a good choice for concrete floors that are already smooth and even.
HTC Superfloor™ Silver
Silver is a less glossy variant of Platinum because the grinding depth is the same. The polishing steps, however, are fewer. It thus provides a matte but strong floor.
HTC Superfloor™ Platinum
Platinum is the best of the best. By repeatedly grinding and polishing the floor, you get a smoother, more even floor with more aggregate exposure and unmatched resistance to wear. Platinum is the most popular surface finish and is a good choice for most applications.
